I woke up in the middle of the night. I felt a presence around me, and it made me feel uneasy. I couldn’t stay in bed, so I got up. I felt quite hungry, and as I descended the stairs to go to the kitchen, I heard noises. I slowly turned around. The growling noises made my heart pound. A weird creature was standing and growling in front of me, getting closer. I closed my eyes, hoping it would go away. The creature then barked, and I realised it was only my dog.
