1- He told her to stay with him.
2- He told him not to leave her alone.
3- He told him (that) she was far too pretty for him. ("that" pas obligatoire..)
4- Mark told Mary to open the door.
5- They told the manager it was far too expensive.

exo 2
6- He asked her where her daughter was.
7- She told him not to look at them.
8- They asked us if we would be back by Thursday.
9- He asked her if she was going to that party.
10- He told Paul (that) he met her at the post-office.  (that = facultatif)
11- He told them (that) he didn't phone because the phone was out of order.

exo 3

He asked me what my name was and where I lived.
I told him my name was Helen and that I was a foreigner.
Then he said that I looked like his sister and asked me if we had met before.
I said that I didn't think we 'd (we had) met before.
He asked me where I was going and I said that I was just having a walk.
Finally I told him to leave me alone.
