Bonjour pouvez vous m'aider : exercice d'anglais niveau 4eme écrivez en majuscule les différents temps et indiquer de quel temps il s'agit. Merci d'avance
John was walking down the street one day when...he found a penguin.
He didn't know what to do so he stopped a policeman.
The policeman told John to take it to the zoo. The next day the policeman met John in the street, still with the penguin. The policeman was very surprised and said "didn't I tell you to take it to the zoo?"
John said ; "Yes, we went to the zoo yesterday and now we're going to the cinema".

was walking = to walk = prétérit be + BV -ing (prétérit progressif)
he found = to find = preterit simple
he didn't know = to know (négatif) = auxiliaire DO (did au prétérit) + know= prétérit négatif
to do = infinitif
he stopped = to stop = preterit
the policeman told = to tell = prétérit
to take = infinitif
the policeman met = to meet = prétérit
was very surprised = be = prétérit
said = to say = prétérit
Didn't I tell you = to tell = auxilaire do = did (prétérit) + base verbale =
prétérit interrogatif négatif
said = to say = preterit
we went = to go = prétérit
we're going = (we are going) = to go = présent progressif (be + BV -ing)
tu as en tout 3 temps =
le prétérit progressif /ou/ be+ BV -ing
le prétérit simple (verbes irreguliers et réguliers -> je t'ai indiqué l'infinitif (BV)
1 présent progressif = be (au présent) + BV -ing
Le prétérit est mis une fois à la forme négative =
he didn't know = sujet + auxliaire DID + not + BV (know)
puis interrogatif et négatif =
didn't I tell you...? = aux- DID + not + sujet + BV (tell) + complément + ?
l'auxiliaire DO (au présent) = DID (au prétérit) et sert aux formes interrogatives et négatives. Le prétérit ne se met QUE sur l'auxiliaire....
