a- Yesterday we were at school, but Rachel was away.
b- She was in bed with a cold.
c- Last Saturday, I was dead tired.
d- My parents and I were at the cinema last night.
e- When were you born  -In 1999

rappel de BE au prétérit
I was
you  were
he/she/it was
we were
you were
they were

Autrement dit "were" partout, SAUF pour la 1ére et 3 éme personne du singulier "I" ET "she/he/it"

pour le prétérit des verbes réguliers --> (autre exo posté)
on ajoute -ed à la BV (base verbale)
exemple = 
walk = walked / finsh = finished etc....
